- TPG-500 Self installing Floating/jack-up Production/Drilling Platform with 15 Slots located in 101m of Water.

OXO SYN GAS PLANT:

¡ñ There is a Synthesis Gas plant with 26,000 Nm3/day capacity which is commissioned in 1990.
* It is an Automatic, having Reformer with catalyst tubes.
* Heat Recovery sections, Steam Boiler.
* Multi stage Reciprocating compressor for CO2 Gas of 15 Kg/cm2 with 780 Nm3/Hrs. Capacity.
* Other Equipments like Induced draft fan with 6400 Nm3/hrs.
* Centrifugal pumps with 4000 L/hrs. and 25,000 L/hrs. Capacities Chemical Dosing pumps.
* CO2 Absorbers, CO2 Strippers and Flue gas washer.
* There is a electronic control plant having YOKOGAWA controllers attached with U.P.S. systems. Hazardous gas Monitors and Temperature Recorders.
* I had worked in all above mentioned sections and handle all the Equipments during the Shift.
* We are using catalyst tubes with NICKLE catalyst for reforming reaction.
* Heat recovery from the gas by steam-CO2 super heater, Flue gas boiler and boiler feed water heater.
* Heat recovery from reformed gas by reformed as boiler, feed gas preheated.
* CO2 removed from reformed gas by CO2 Absorber and Stripper with MEA circulation system.
* CO2 recovery from flue gas by flue gas washer, Absorber & Stripper.
* Multistage compressor forCO2 and one stage compressor for Feed gas.

Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Activities:
- Inspection of piping & instrument system as per P & ID.
- Water & air Flushing & drying of pipelines.
- LP & HP leak testing.
- Steam blowing of pipe lines.
- Cardboard blasting of pipelines.
- Purging & inertisation of the unit using N2 gas.
- Catalyst loading of vessel.
- Hydro testing witness.
- External inspection assisting of column, vessels, Tanks,Filters,Exchanger & knock out drum.
- Chemical cleaning of pipe lines.
- Punch list preparation, follow-up, and clearing with co-ordination with maintenance.
- Stroke checking of control valves through DCS & field.
- Performing air leak test and N2-He pressure leak test of the system.
- Utilities service line lecktest and pressure holding test.
- Valve tray eraction in distillation column and tray checking for levelness weir height, down comer clearance, valve free movement and proper tightening of tray decks.
- Inspection of lines, flanges for proper gaskets,Flow,restriction orifices and NRV.
- Providing necessary check lists for modifications as per P & ID.
- No-load trial running of comp. motor and pump with vendor assistance and performance test.
- Mechanical preventive maintence,inspection,checking for proper operations.
- Commissioning of utilities like plant air, instrument air,LP&HP steam,N2, cooling water, service water, DMwater, fuel gas lines.
- Operation & controlling using PLC & DCS.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Looking after all the section like Compressor, Reformer and CO2 removal & recovery section Oxidation, Hydrogenation, Distillation, Polymer Cracking/Furnace, Effluent treatment, Tank farm activities like loading and unloading material etc¡­ in the field for smooth operation of all equipments.
2. The safe, reliable & efficient operation and process control parameters maintaining plant start-up & shut-down activities, emergency and also maintain good house keeping.
3. Note down the various parameters like Temp., Pressure, Level, Flow etc. and maintain log sheet.
4. Monitor and control all the parameters through DCS.
5. Executing all kinds of field and panel operation.
6. Safety and regular check-up of pant condition.
7. Report all the abnormalities and failures to the supervisor and take possible corrective measures immediately.
8. Communicate and co-ordinates between the various department for smooth operation of the plant.
9. Follow-up the maintenance jobs by proper isolating pumps, equipments, reaction.
10. Start up and Shutdown of the plant.
11. Routine checking of lubrication system for compressor, pumps, etc. and Also to make up oil for the same.
12. Taking regular training of safety and fire fighting.
13. Periodical plant training and product quality ISO-9002 procedure.
14. Continuous vigilance on Quality of products through laboratory results and make or adjust necessary corrections with the process parameters.
15. Involved in trouble shooting of the plant
16. Follow-up hot work by co-ordination with fire and safety personals.
17. Follow-up the instruction from hierarchy for any modification implementation in the process.
18. Given training to new joining personnel's.
19. Attending of production / technical meeting.
