„« Supervise the contractors jobs scope of work, read equipment manual while installing equipment¡¦s.
„« Carry out the challenging work with all safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
„« Install and assemble the machine parts.
„« Carried out PPM (plant preventive maintenance).
„« Running maintenance, break down & corrective maintenance.
„« Repair, overhaul & trouble shooting of all rotating & static equipment¡¦s.
„« Prepare daily, weekly & monthly preventive maintenance reports.
„« Can do installation & alignment of all rotating equipments.
„« Work towards extra ordinary safety, Positive attitude and team sprit. Effective communication with strong inter-personal skills.
„« Can do condition monitoring.
„« Can do spading and de spading during shutdown & start up.
„« Can do filter removal and re install.
„« Knowledge of using measuring instruments like verniar, micrometer.
„« Carried out condition monitoring checks on machinery and notify any malfunctions or defects
„« Carried out inspection maintenance, repair and overhaul of a variety of heavy plant and equipment in accordance with company standards, codes and practices.
„« Receives, identifies and sorts out incoming spare parts, components and consumables

1.Alignment:
„« Rotor centering radial and axial.
„« Carried out various types of Alignments like Reverse Two Dial Indication method (Graphical and Analytical methods) and Face & Rim Method, laser alignment, etc.,
2.Centrifugal Pump (Single Stage)
Make: KSB,BUNGARTZ,SULZER,AKAYKIRLOSKAR,VOLTAS,MICROFINISH,MATHER and PLATT.
„« Change the Mechanical Seals (Single and Double)
„« change the Impeller Wearing, Shaft, Sleeve, Bearing, Gland packing, total overhauling and alignment with driver.
3.Centrifugal Pump Multistage (Barrel And Spilt)
Make: KSB,SIEMENSE.(40bar,15stages) with Turbine and motor drive.
„« Change the Rotor, Impeller, Wearing, Diffuser, Bearing(Thrust, journal),
„« Rotor centering, Seal assembling and final assembly with Torque tighten as per instruction.
4.Submergible Pump:(Single & Multistage)
Make: KSB
„« Removal of Rotor unit with bowl assembly,
„« Dismantling the parts and checking the clearance. Bearing, Wearing clearance checking as per the manual.
5.Reciprocating Pump
Make: DOSPRO MILTON ROY (Piston and Plunger)
„« Change the piston ring, Piston, Plunger, Stuffing box packing, Cam condition
„« Suction & discharge valve cleaning and fixing.(Like NRV).
6.Mechanical Seals
Make: JOHAN CRANE,DURAMETALIC ( Cartridge type).
„« Removing and troubleshooting of mechanical seals,
„« Installation of various types of seals like single coil single seal and multi coil double seal like Back to back, Face to face, Tandem seal.
7.Reciprocating Compressor(Vertical & Horizontal)
Make: KGKHOSALA, COPPER BESSEMER, CONSOLIDATED PNEUMATIC,KIRLOSKER,MITSUI-JAPAN INGORASALRAND.(Double acting Double stage ).
„« Change the Liner, piston ring, Rider ring, Stuffing box packing
„« Check bearing clearance and check the Web deflection
„« Piston rod run out, Crosshead clearance, Locknut tightened
„« Suction, Discharge valves changing and servicing
„« Lube oil circuit, Control and Safety System.
8.Centrifugal Gas Compressors: (Barrel & Split Type)
Make: MHI,DEMAAG,ELLIOT,DRESSER CLARK.
„« Change the Dry gas seal (Tandem),separation (barrier) seal removal &
„« reinstall check diaphragm, balance piston, labyrinth, diffusers
„« All frictional bearings clearance checking, Axial float checking
„« Centering the rotor
„« Coupling alignment(Gear) checking and correction
„« Maintenance of lube oil circuit.
9. Steam Turbines: (Single&Multistage)
Make:MHI(35MW), AEG KANNIS, COPPUS MURRAY (6mw),NATROWSKI
„« Rotor float checking,
„« Rotor & stator clearances,Runout
„« Change the Rotor, check the diaphragm, turbine seals like segmental Labyrinth, Carbon rings, Bearings (Tilting pad type journal, kings bury type thrust ),
„« Check the tripping system and adjust (Hydraulic & Mechanical) inspection of governor valve, extraction control valve, trip & throttle valve, final assembly with torque tighten as per instruction
„« coupling alignment checking & correction.
10.Gas Turbine:
Make: Ruston, Solar(centaur40, taurs 60, mars 100), General Eletric (Frame 5)
„« Performing the Fuel nozzle assembly & Bleed removal, Cleaning and reinstall
„« Fault Finding Lube oil circuit,
„« Air intake pleneum filter changing, Gas strainer removal, Cleaning and reinstall
„« Worked with service engineer during the shutdown period. Combustion linear Fuel nozzle and turbine buckets changing
„« All bearing and labyrinth checking
„« Crank wash,
„« Enclosure filter replace,
„« Lube oil filter replace
„« PPM Performed as per SMP
„« Bleed valve replace
„« Inspect the nozzle during shutdown

„« 1500Hrs:Jobs of 500hrs,Oil sump Cleaning and Refilling Cylinder head servicing (assembling and dismantling of rocker arms, valves, Setting Tappet clearance)
„« 3000Hrs, Jobs Of 500,1500Hrs,dismandling and assembling of piston, main bearing clearance checking,
13 Fin Fans:
„« Changing the Fan leaf, Shaft, Bush bearing
