JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Here at workshop, complete overhauling of engines, transmission, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, hydraulic cylinders, components, plants and equipments is done.
Inspect the equipments for types of repairs to be done, order spares and then starts the overhauling of the equipments within the set budget allotted for that equipment.
Also I am working as safety engineer for mobile and tower cranes, to insure safe working.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
* Plans, develops, implements and evaluates Daily, Monthly, periodic, preventive and corrective maintenance program of production lines, machines and equipment for effective and efficient machine operation
* Performs actual maintenance tasks requiring a high level of technical skills and proficiency on routine maintenance.
* Interact with workshops, vendors and OEM's regarding equipment failure data and QA/QC for both in-house and external repair facilities.
* Research, validate and introduce best mechanical predictive & preventive maintenance practices and techniques conducive to the organization.
* Review and recommend mechanical initiatives for anticipating and preventing equipment failure to maintain availability and to avoid catastrophic breakdowns, thereby reducing overall cost for workforce and material...
* Ensures the maintenance of adequate inventory of stock parts such as machine spare parts, tools, oils and engineering materials in relation to actual usage requirements.
* Coordinates with local suppliers and sub-contractors on the purchase of spare parts needed for the maintenance of production machinery and equipment or for the provision of needed repair services beyond internal capabilities.
* Conduct trainings to all Engineering Staffs on machine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in the form of formal program facilitation.
* Daily Inspect cranes working in different sites.
* Arrange various training program update operators that how to operate and use of crane capacity charts
* Coordinate with the Head of Department/Design Staff and obtain their comments prior to auctioning
* Arrange regular meetings with the maintenance manager to report on progress and help resolve issues where they arise.
* Plans and schedules the activities of Engineering Staffs; determines level of work required; prioritizes needs and scheduled projects; determines method and source of repair requirement
* Involves in planning, designing, and scheduling of production line installation, modification and relocation.
* Serves as a liaison to other departments to assess needs, evaluate work, determine cost benefit of contract versus in-house construction, estimate expenditures, and prioritize production lines/machine maintenance and construction projects
* Put into place quality assurance procedures to ensure that procedures for review and inspection of installations are maintained throughout the project period.
* Participates in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems, problem-solving and decision-making and performance monitoring through participation in standing and ad hoc committees, task forces, and project teams
