1) Working as a piping/Mechanical designer (draughtsman) in Tendering ,Design& proposal department from 2006 to till date at BESIX SANOTEC,U.A.E
2) Worked as a Mechanical Draughtsman-Design/technical Department from Aug 2004 to Oct 2006 at Vacuum techniques PVT. Ltd. Bangalore, India
3) Worked as an Assistant designer – Design Department from Feb2003 to June 2004 at LOHASHILPI, Kerala in India.
4) Worked as a Apprentice trainee –Technical Department from Feb2002 to Feb 2003 at Steel complex Ltd., Kerala in India.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and giving instructions to the subordinate draft persons (Junior Designers).
- Coordinate Civil and MEP works.
- Assist the designers for designing the plant.
- Integrate/coordinate the information of supplier and subcontractors (MEP).
- Assist Estimation/cost control engineers for quantity take out from tender documents.
- Preparation of Bill of quantities for piping materials and accessories.
- Prepare the filing structure for design department.
- Prepare the preliminary and presentation (3dimensional) drawings for the Business Development ,Client presentation and Estimation process.
- Prepare Detailed Process & Instrumentation Diagrams(PID) and Process flow diagrams(PFD).
- Prepare the General plant layout.(in 3d when needed)
- Prepare ISO’s (Isometric drawings).
- Preparation of shop/design drawings.
- Prepare support drawings.
- On site verification (to be coordinated with the construction manager) of dimensions, existing facilities, existing pipe routings, existing equipment layout, etc.
- Preparation of Fabrication drawings.
- Update the drawings library
- Upgrade my knowledge with latest technologies.
Educational Qualification
- 1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Three year Engineering)
Certificate : State board of technical education, Kerala, India.
- 2. Diploma in Production Management (One year –Distance Education)
Certificate : Annamalai University Distance Education.
