Description
Ensure the compliance of the contract signed between the seismic contractor WesternGeco and Repsol Exploration Algeria. Ensure that all seismic QHSE related issues on both base camp and operation sites are done as per; contractual/ bridging safety requirements, Westerngeco/ SLB policies & procedures, and international recognized standards(OGP/ IAGC) in compliance with all local and national regulations of Algeria. Supervise the mobilization of the crew equipment/personnel to the operation sites- survey block. Act as an advisor to WesternGeco crew 1772 party manager and Repsol on HSE issues and concerns. Set an example by personal application of HSE principles and practices. Conduct weekly and random inspections of each work unit using an approved checklist. Participate in the development of action plans to address identified hazards. Report inspection results in writing to WG party manager and Repsol on a weekly basis. Conduct pre-use equipment inspections of major equipment using an approved checklist. Supervise critical procedures of the seismic operation hazardous activities. Participate in reporting of hazards, coordinates hazard reporting and development of action plans. Take immediate corrective action in situations where imminent serious or major unsafe acts or conditions exist. Watch over the fulfillment by Seismic Contractor about: Planning and control of daily HSE meetings, Distribution of Risks Manuals to every worker, Feasibility and validity of Emergency Plans….etc. Compliance with all training activities, drills, safety programs, etc, programmed in the HSE Plan. Participate and report in investigation of accidents / incidents, analysis of causes and development of action plans using the Company format. Monitor personal protective equipment usage and advise management when replacements are needed. Submit a comprehensive and fully documented independent report on Seismic Contractor WGeco regarding HSE performance on completion of project The report should document all reportable incidents or near misses, mention the steps taken to improve HSE performance, problems encountered which prevented any of the operation concerning HSE objectives from being realized; and should be supported by photographs. Issue the project HSE final report. Supervise the camp close out, survey exit report, and the demobilization of WG.

Description
Field seismic HSSE representative for the seismic project Adrar_Gern El Guessa Algeria by the contractor WesternGeco crew 1774; Improvement of the HSE culture within the worksite Supervise HSE issues in both base camp and operation sites. Daily, weekly, monthly, environment, BBS, Corrective Action Register….. HSE reports. Conduct BG life savers training for the employees (The most hazardous activities in the company are governed by simple mandatory rules to help ensure safe operation across BG) Conduct internal audits/Inspections and discuss the strength & weakness with the management Visits to the 2D/3D seismic field employees/ops on daily basis and at any incident (as a local, who doesn’t need military escort according to the Algerian legislations) Crew supervision through survey completion & demobilization of the contractor. After the end of seismic, I joined civil works department within BG Group too, which was building Rig platform, access road, and airstrips. My main duties were the following; Complete the Daily, BBS, weekly, monthly and environment civil HSE reports and issue to the HSE Manager. Update the corrective action register CAR and submit to the management and subcontractor Liaison with key contractor’s personnel to ensure company HSE goals and objectives are understood and complied with. Conduct daily field visits for; maintenance crew, labors building Rig platform, and service companies. To follow up the open action items. Ensure a safe coordination of work between subcontractors and service companies working at site. Ensure civil construction activities on site are done in full compliance with company HSE policies and procedures, with no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment.
