Brief description: Accomplished Geologist with over 9 years experience (4 in the field and 5 years in the academia) I have a BSc (2004), MSc (2005) and PhD in Geology (2008). I was worked with Geolog International and Datalog UK as Mud Logger and Data Engineer in North Africa and North Sea.

I have a Bachelor degree in Geology (2004), Master degree in Geology (2005) and PhD in Geology (2008) from Al. I. Cuza University of Iasi, Romania, rewarded with “Cum Laude” distinction. After my graduation, in 2004, I have worked until 2006 as Mud Logger/Data Engineer (Logging Geologist) for Geolog International in North Africa (Libia-onshore/offshore) and onshore Italy. From 2006 I have worked as Data Engineer (Logging Geologist) for International Logging (ILI Datalog UK) in Europe (UK-offshore, and Denmark-offshore). In 2008 I joined as Lecturer at the Department of Geology in Iasi, Romania. I have good communication and presentation skills and I am also IT proficient.

Objective

I am looking for a position as Wellsite Geologist/Geoscientist in an international / multinational growing oil/service company in upstream branch, where I can maximize the use of my knowledge, experience and skills and where I will be continually challenged and stretched. My key skills are: Wellsite geology, drilling operations, palynology, biostratigraphy, gas/pressure/formation evaluation, hydraulic calculations, mud logging data interpretation and tools.
