Official duties:
Reporting to: Corporate VP (HSE, Permitting, Licensing)
- Governmental & public relations (including public meetings).
- Ensure accurate and full Sanitary and Environmental reporting to corporate government, Operator, and Russian Authorities as required.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in a manner consistent with Operator Environmental requirements.
- Supervise all activities in Environmental Depts.
- Develop Environmental systems and procedures, plans and programs for Company in accordance with Corporate requirements, implement and monitor.
- Actively participate in all permitting activities and ensure land allotments are obtained in a timely manner for all projects.
- Manage documentation and processes for all Environmental & Sanitary audits and Action Lists.
- Establish Environmental baselines, standards and targets; constantly monitor and periodically report progress to Company and Corporate management.
- Manage the implementation into Company of Corporate Environmental programs, policies, and “Standards”.
- Ensure that all spills, incidents and accidents are reported and investigated in accordance with Company and Russia Federation requirements.
- Develop annual plans, Including World Bank Tech & IFC. reports.
- Prepare and distribute training material for company monthly Environmental & Sanitary briefings.
- Monitor & audit Environmental & Sanitary compliance in operations / drilling / construction activities.
- Prepare and manage, analyze and review the approved departmental budget and take corrective action when necessary.
- Prepare and oversee a Waste, Water, Oil Spill, Air emission, Reclamation Management Plans/Projects.
- Conduct unannounced Environmental & Sanitary inspections to ensure compliance with new and existing programs.
- Estimate Technological & Environmental Risks.
