Ground Instructor. Giving lectures on principles of flight, aerodynamics of flight, aircraft systems, airplane performance, mass&balance for pilot students. Supporting on aircraft accident investigation by researching the related technical data for the subject airplane model. Teaching aviation english for aircraft technicians and pilots.

Family-run business. Running our own family business (gas station). Managing staff, stocks and financial issues. Part-time working in customer tailored part manufacturer (as general manager assistance) and diesel engine company (as customer technical support engineer, hands-on training in England for two weeks).

Worked by learning on metmast evaluation, data processing, roughness and elevation maps preperations, energy yield assessment and uncertainty calculations, preliminary/recalculation/final report writing, offer preperation, site inspection, project management and project coordination with international clients and manufacturers. Worked in micrositing international department. Attented inhouse seminars such as mechanical load measurements, power curve measurements, climate, Used WASP, WinPro, Gis, Surfer etc.
February 2009 – July 2009 MILSON SONAR TECHNOLOGY, Izmir
Project Manager. Working on international and domestic defence projects for Sonar&Radar systems. Responsible for materials and assembly management, workflow & technical specifications in order to assure ISO9001 quality system, accomplishing inhouse (for Canadian Navy) and on-site test (for Aselsan). July 2008 – February 2009 NIVEKO POWERTRAIN SYSTEMS, Istanbul
Technical Service Engineer. Mainly working on warranty claim examination, throubleshooting, failure analysis. Repair process and parts/tools planning regarding to the manuals, technical bulletins and cooperation with ZF Germany. Technical service organisation, attending onboard for inspection and team management for ZF Marine Group products (remote controls, gearboxes, controllable pitch propellers). Dealing with wide variety of marine vehicles (fisherboats, yachts, chemical tankers, coast guard boats). Technical reporting with the related expenses to the headquarters of ZF Marine Propulsion in Italy, Germany and USA. Maintaining of calibration tracebility of the measurement equipments and special tools used at the workshop by technicians. Supporting commisioning procedures on new prototype ships.
April 2005 – June 2007 MNG AIRLINES, ISTANBUL
Engine repair responsible. Monitoring Airbus A300, Boeing B737 component repairs at THY Technics workshops. Mainly experienced in engine (GE CF6-50 Turbofan) repair&parts management. Components purchasing&repair planning, engine overhaul management in according with workscope, the related SB, AD, IPC, CMM, AMM, SRM by coordination with a contracted engine shop. Engine teardown’s monitoring at MTU, material management and stock controlling for the engines at shop. Examining and following certification and condition compliance of the components purchased, repaired, swapped regarding to EASA and FAA requirements in order to receive dual released parts (Form1, BTB records etc.). Worked closely with GE repair shops ( GE CAL, GE CELMA, GE CINCINATI, GE HUNGARY) and the other main repair shops (Thai Airways, MTU, Chromalloy, LH Technic, Unison, IAI BEDEK, KLM, SKF etc). Participated three table inspections of CF60-50 engine in Thai Airways, Bangkok. Used SAP. Certified training on Aircraft Familiarization (at MNG Technics), Snecma CFM56-7B Engine Type Course in ATA 107 Level III (at THY), JAR-OPS1 Training Course (by JAA at THY), MME&JAR-OPS1 Subpart M Training (at MNG Airlines), Spares Management Seminar (at AIRBUS)
August 1998 – March 2005 MERCEDES – BENZ TURK A.S, ISTANBUL.
Development and Test Engineer. Monitoring and reporting bus/coach field tests, customer field tests and bad road test (endurance test) as teamleader. Functional and lifetime tests of door and flap systems. Testing and reporting of thermal comfort tests (Air conditioning) of the buses. Functional testing and test planning of new sample parts/components due to design changings, customer complaints and quality problems. Monitoring prototype bus assembly and test set-up. Investment and budget planning of new test equipments. Coordination, management and process monitoring of six R&D projects in order to benefit from governement support supplied by Tubitak. Gained experience in monitoring and organising road tests, reporting failures, spare parts planning, carrying out periodical maintenance tasks and checks so as to maintain safe driving conditions. Teamleader of a road test team of a prototype citybus in Untertürkheim, Germany for 4,5 months. Problem solving and examination by taking into consideration deadlines and consulting related documentation, diagnosis softwares, NDT methods. Preparing test rigs for lifetime test of flaps, doors, seat gas springs. Certified knowledge of Thermal camera by FLIR, Italy. Participated in DFMEA(design failure modes effect analysis) and Kaizen workshop, certified knowledge of ISO 9000. Nov. 1997 – July 1998 JANTAS Wheel Producer Company, Manisa .
Development and System Engineer. Worked on a project of wheel assebly with a new material, lifetime testing of the product for quality assurance according to the standart, rectifying critical production and quality problems as well as customer quality complaints, cost reducing and marketing studies. Gained experience in monitoring field test of the steel wheels on heavy-duty vehicles (trucks), analysis of returned faulty products and taking preventive decision to reduce failure rates. Examining the new materials, submerged gas welding problems on workshop, compiling a product catalog of the company. Gained experience in ISO 9000 quality system, project management, TPM. Certified knowledge of basic hydrolic. Wind assessment measurements with a german expert in the neighborhood of Izmir, Manisa.
April 1994 - June 1995 901st ARMY DEPOT (Newly 5th Army depot), Turkish Land Forces, Ankara.
Overhauling Engineer. Worked on overhauling and maintenance of a variety of military helicopters (fleet of Bell, Agusta Bell, Robinson, Sikorsky) and airplanes (Cessna, Beechcraft B-200) of Turkish Land Forces. Gained experience in overhauling of a helicopter, inspection of a crashed landing helicopter, composite part production and repair, participating in ground and flight testing of helicopter, monitoring the components at shops, assembly/disassembly line, component supplying, working with MIL standarts. Developed leadership skills, self discipline and organisation skills. Used Dbase IV. Worked closely with an American technical team (company Bell) in order to implement the related modifications on the subject helicopters.
