Position Overview: The primary purpose of the Human Resources Administrator – Exploration is to provide timely and quality administrative support to the Human Resources team in the Exploration group. Key responsibilities include: · Assistance in recruitment process as necessary, including reference checks and other relevant paperwork · On boarding of new Barrick employees which includes; advising relevant team members of the new starters, booking inductions and medicals, flight booking, clothing order, compiling a New Starter Pack (including relevant paperwork for them to complete). · Liaising with RBU HR team in regards to all new starters to the Australia Pacific Exploration team, to allow a new employee HR record to be created in Oracle and advise payroll of the new starter and send all new Health Insurance applications to the insurance provider. · Maintain the HR Procedures Manual with any relevant changes. · Attend to general HR queries. · Input of data and maintenance of the LMS (Learning Management System) and RIMS databases to ensure up to date and accurate training and development information is captured · Input and maintain data in HRIS (Oracle, Taleo) as appropriate · Raise and issue appropriate documentation with regard to the above employee maintenance transactions including: proof of employment letters, probation period and termination letters. · Process employee terminations, issue appropriate documentation and liaise with relevant parties to ensure termination is noted by all concerned. · General Invoicing including; creation of purchase orders, raising a requisition and receipting. · Monitor employee probationary periods and provide regular updates to the Senior HR team · Maintenance of Organisational Charts and other data capture documents and systems · Liaising with the Travel department and relevant Exploration team members to facilitate mobilisations to site · Maintenance of workforce statistics data and associated information · Undertaking HR Projects as directed. · General Administration duties – scanning and filing of documentation, inputting of data etc The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills and experience: · Completion of Secondary Education or equivalent · Applicable Higher Education qualifications, e.g. AHRI, university preferred · Experience in providing administration support in a human resources/payroll (or equivalent) environment. · reasonable knowledge of basic human resource processes, procedures and practices · Ability to handle candidate and employee records and maintain confidentiality · Ability and demonstrated success in multi-tasking in a busy, customer-oriented operations/service environment. · Proficient computer and software skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, and all Microsoft Office programs · Ability to communicate effectively with the AP RBU HR Administration team, particularly in regards to Compensation and Benefits, HRIS, and Talent & Development · Able to read and write English at an Upper Secondary School standard or equivalent This position offers a market competitive salary and you may be eligible for other benefits such as premium health cover for you and your family, gym subsidy, salary continuance, salary sacrificing options, incentive programs and genuine opportunities for training and development and career progression.
