The Company

Our client is a long established, highly respected and growing Engineering Company providing excellence in "high end" products and services to the Petroleum Industry

The Role and Responsibilities

This is a 4 month contract position and interstate applicants are encouraged to apply.

Our client is seeking to immediately appoint an experienced multi-tasking Quality Manager to its friendly, professional and skilled Brisbane team.

Reporting to the Managing Director and the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

the supervision of the engineering team (quality engineer, drafting engineer and draftsman) the supervison of the secretarial and quality administration staff the supervision of on-site contracted companies by walk around and spot audit procedures input of variation situations to the Project Manager provision of input and coordination of the commissioning plan supervision of the receipt of major deliveries to ensure the quality plan is maintained supervision of the interface between the company and its weldindg conctractor provision of a centre of excellence for the quality function on the project Please note: Applications from NON Australian and New Zealand residents WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!

The Skills and Requirements

You will have:

an appropriate Engineering Degree piping / fuel system background a hands-on approach a high level of communication and organisation skills above average computer skills with a strong understanding of CAD applications workplace flexibility and a mature work ethic The Rewards:
