Worsley Alumina is the joint venture operation of BHP Billiton, Japan Alumina Associates and Sojitz Alumina. As a member of the world’s largest diversified resources company, Worsley manages a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in Western Australia’s South West and offers candidates an enviable choice of lifestyle, based in the state’s picturesque South West.

As a Field Supervisor with Worsley Alumina, you will be accountable for overseeing the safe execution of allocated contractor work for Major shutdowns. Your primary responsibilities will include;

• Monitoring the safety performance of allocated contractor groups

• Monitoring the efficiency of allocated contractor work groups

• Developing work method and quality documentation to support the Major Shutdown works

• Co-ordinating spares and materials leading up to a shutdown

Committee to developing a culture driven by safety, quality and continuous improvement, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness, be a skilled communicator with the ability to work within a diverse team environment utilising demonstrated problem solving skills and leadership qualities.
