Our client, Australian owned and with a successful history spanning over 20 yrs, was established to provide specialised process equipment and related services to the mining industry throughout Australia and South-East Asia/Pacific region. Its products are now exported globally.
The Person and Requirements
Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Design Engineer to the position of Manager to its busy Sydney engineering office.
The successful applicant must have:
a Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Design (or equivaent) a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD / Inventor software applications, a minimum of 5 yrs mining industry experience the ability to think outside of the square excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills, above average computer skills, You will:
Have experience in calculating load stress have a sound knowledge of both Project Management and production processes be able to show successfully manufactured previous designs be a highly motivated, enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing person, have a mature attitude and a strong work ethic, be motivated by challenge and change, have excellent attention to detail and be able to anticipate problems before they eventuate.
This is a hands-on role and applications will only be considered from candidates who meet all of the above criteria.
