We are working with one of WA's established mining contractors on a key leadership position. The company specialises in the delivery of a wide range of mining solutions and has seen a significant increase in the demand for their mining expertise. The Project Manager will assume responsibility for the management of key client relationships associated with a number of existing projects. You will be required to travel to site on a regular basis and will be expected to oversee daily activities to ensure project objectives are achieved.
The position demands proven leadership experience and exceptional communication & interpersonal skills. You will also be required to offer the following:
Relevant qualifications within a mining related discipline
QM Ticket (highly desirable but not essential)
Experience with medium - large open-pit mining operations
Exposure to both contract mining & owner/operator environments
Strong understanding of statutory regulations
Some geotechnical and/or drill & blast expertise (operational experience preferred)
This position will require a start within the next 2 - 4 weeks and those available to commence employment within this timeframe are encouraged to apply. We have a range of similar positions currently available, including:
Project Manager - mining contractor, 9:5 FIFO, $180K+
Drill & Blast Superintendent - contract or permanent, $180K - $200K
Resident Manager - open-pit iron ore, Unrestricted QM Ticket essential
Alternate Resident Manager - 9:5 FIFO, ~ $1300/day, exciting new development
