Nickel West is the world’s third largest producer of nickel-in-concentrate.
Leinster Nickel Operation is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The operation sources nickel ore from the Perseverance Underground Mine and the newly commissioned Cliffs Underground Mine before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. Think Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Plant Metallurgist, you’ll provide production and planning support to the Metallurgy Department by collecting and collating information and presenting data in an appropriate format. This will include compilation and management of daily production data, forecasting, schedules, planning and reporting.
Think Requirements
We’re looking for a pro-active, motivated, professional individual with strong analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication along with knowledge of data analysis methods are required to fulfil this dynamic role.
Advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly MS Excel & Access, coupled with the ability to work autonomously and maintain positive communications is essential. Knowledge of mineral processing systems, sampling methods and qualifications in accounting, computing or administration will be highly regarded.
A current WA Drivers Licence and Police Clearance are essential.
