Think Opportunity
Reporting to the Supervisor - Concentrator Maintenance, you will provide safe and effective maintenance of lubrication systems, hydraulic systems and pneumatic systems with in the Concentrator plant.
Think Purpose
As a Lubrication Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and unplanned maintenance repairs in the Concentrator. This role focuses on preventative maintenance initiatives and ensuring all plant downtime issues are escalated correctly, rectified and closed out immediately within the SAP Maintenance system. This will be achieved through your expertise and knowledge of area equipment and processes, and through close working relationships with relevant personnel.
Think Requirements
Self-motivated and highly flexible, you will demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels. You will have demonstrated fault-finding and problem resolution skills with the ability to implement process improvement initiatives. Knowledge and experience in mining resources or similar heavy industry along with experience in computer maintenance systems (preferably SAP) is highly desirable.
Your mechanical trade qualifications will ideally be accompanied by maintenance experience in a mineral processing plant or other industrial site. A team-player, with an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development, this will be an opportunity to join a world-class operation.
