THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil and gas company to provide a Contracts Manager. Rotation 60 / 30. Salary negotiable with excellent terms and conditions. This vacancy is being handled by CCLs Houston office.
THE PERSON
10 - 15 years of experience in managing large EPC oil and offshore pipeline projects. Proven experience as Contracts Manager in completing at least one EPC project valued over $50MM USD. Previous working experience in West Africa is highly desirable. Extensive international experience is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelors degree preferred in Contracts and Legal Compliance or related. Contract Management professional certification preferred. Excellent written and verbal English skills. Able effectively manage, coordinate diverse teams, communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner to facilitate and achieve desired results. Good understanding of technology challenges, logistical limitations and start-up when operating in a developing country environment. Current knowledge of contracts, techniques, and best practices for petroleum product pipeline project management, engineering principles and best practices. MS Office expertise for developing / editing contracts. Cost control, negotiation and contract management skills / able estimate and administer material costs. Familiarity with relevant local and international regulations concerning offshore oil and gas pipeline and fabrication industries.
