The Administration Manager will be the primary role in all the camp matters and will report to the GM. The assistant to the camp manager will be a great help but will not be a replacement to their direct supervision.


>> Dealing with Camp matters.

1. Maintenance of the camps:

The Administration Manager will be in charge of the maintenance of the camps and will be in charge of purchasing goods through local suppliers, maintenance of all equipment required and food.

• Cleaning of the rooms and the camps;
• Catering: Responsible for the quality of the food purchased by suppliers in Conakry;
• Internet;
• Satellite television;
• Will be in charge of the good function of the retail superette;
• Organizing activities for the camps;
• General camp maintenance and upkeep.

2. Office Administration:

The admin manager will be the principal intervenient in all official matters for the office maintenance and he will report to the GM..

• Purchasing stationery and dispatching stationery to different departments;
• Catering in offices, cleaning of offices;
• Maintenance;
• Repartition of offices to different departments;
• To control and reduce the office overhead expenses;
• Charter flights in and out site.

3. Personal expatriates matters as:

• In charge of the reservation and purchasing of international flying tickets;
• Issuing and checking validities of Visas;
• Hotels reservations.

4. General administration, office regulations and policies, making sure that all company policies are followed properly:

• Dealing with the various trade licenses;
• In charge of general publications and advertisements;
• To deal with all the company insurance matters including renewals, claims and covers.

5. Departments reporting to the Admin Manager:

• HR
• IT
• Travel
• Legal
• HSE
• Community’s Relations


The candidate should have at least 10 years experience, either as an Administration Manager, or in a similar role. You should have experience of working in a difficult environment and remote location, including previous experience of working in Africa.

You will be completely bilingual in French and English, preferably a French National as you will be experienced at French employment regulations and procedures.

You will understand all aspects of expatriate and / camp/office requirement on a camp site. You will have strong inter-personal skills (human relationship building) and you will have well developed supervisory skills as a leader of a direct (and expanded) team.
