Operations Manager

Our client, a junior miner operating in the former Soviet Union requires an Operations Manager for a new gold/copper mine in Eastern Europe. The plant has been recently commissioned and the first gold pour is expected this month.

The successful candidate will have:

* Tertiary qualifications in mining or mineral processing
* Extensive experience in the Mining Industry including solid experience in Gold mining/processing
* Significant experience at a senior management level
* Previous operating experience in a developing country
* The ability to communicate in Russian or Azeri

The Operation Manger will be responsible for all aspects of the operation including mining, geology, process plant and supervision of administration services. The process includes crushing, leaching, resin adsorption/desorption and copper recovery using cementation (SART).

The position is available on a 2 year contract with options to extend. The role is available on FIFO roster or residential status.
