THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a major international oil and gas company to provide a Quality Assurance Manager. Rotation 60 / 30. Salary negotiable with excellent T&Cs. This vacancy is being handled by the Houston office.
THE PERSON
10 - 15 years of quality assurance experience with 3+ years managing quality assurance for large EPC oil and offshore pipeline projects. Proven experience as Quality Assurance Manager for at least one EPC project valued over $50MM USD. Strong analytical skills / administration of Quality Assurance metrics. Experience monitoring construction, testing, pre-commissioning and distribution of materials. Track record establishing and implementing Quality monitoring systems using site specific Quality Surveillance Guides to subcontractors. History of reduction of average repair rates. Working experience in West Africa is highly desirable.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
BA/BS degree / equivalent experience in related field. ISO 9001 Certification and / or Level II NDE Examiner (RTI, MT, PT, UT), a plus. Understanding of API Codes and Six Sigma experience an advantage. Knowledge of technology challenges / logistical limitations in developing country environment. Expertise in quality assurance techniques / best practices for petroleum product pipeline project management. MS Office skills. Ability to control costs. Familiarity with local / international regs. for offshore oil and gas pipeline / fabrication industries. Excellent written and verbal English skills.
