This regional council west of Melbourne has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their busy Roads and Drainage team delivering various raod and infrastructure packages within the council area.
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager your responsibilities will include:
Liaising with community groups/agencies/committees
Project scoping and planning
Ensure permits / consents are obtained
Tender production, review and selection
Management of external contractors and third party workers
Cost control and budgeting
Progress payments and quality control
Contract administration
The successful candidate will be a degree qualified civil engineer although this is not essential, and have experience in civil roads and infrastructure construction and be driven towards a career in project management.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a diverse team within this busy engineering office and gain experience on a wide range of projects. The team is expected to grow further in the future, allowing excellent career progression opportunities for the right candidate.
