Project Manager – Civil/Mining Infrastructure

With nearly 5o years experience in multi-discipline engineering, major public and mine infrastructure construction, our Clients innovative Alliance and Hard $ construction solutions have positioned them excellently for the current market.

They have earned a reputation as one of the regions leading Constructors having delivered throughout Australia in remote, urban and environmentally sensitive locations.

With their continued prominence in the market, there is a pressing need to hire experienced Project Managers with solid, proven delivery experience in Civil, Mine Infrastructure and/or Mechanical focused projects.

Your performance will be based upon management of all construction activities of the Project including engineering, scheduling, costs, industrial relations, safety, environmental and quality aspects of the Project alongside the project team. You must also be comfortable with Client Management and Liaison with all project stakeholders.

Safety, Environmental and Community issues are key performance criteria alongside sub-contractor and cost management whilst motivating and managing the workforce as necessary. In this role it is key that you are equally as comfortable with on site delivery and management as client liaison and cost management.

It is essential that you demonstrate a solid understanding of financial and progress reports and an ability to communicate such information to the client. Solid relationships with major Mining organisations will be well received.

In order to deliver in this role, it is expected that you will have relevant tertiary qualifications (demonstrable experience will negate this), excellent man-management, communication and leadership skills and a total appreciation of the importance of OH&S.

This is a FIFO position and typically on a 10/4 roster.
