Our client is looking for a Contract Specialist with African mining industry experience and strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

The primary function of the role is:

* Create, negotiate and consummate services contracts
* Developing and recommending sourcing strategies
* Identification and evaluation of potential suppliers
* Supplier and market analysis to develop a stable and competent supply base
* Identifying and mitigating supply risks
* Preparation of contractual documentation for various service requirements
* Resolving disputes with contractors and suppliers
* Continual improvement of the contracting process
* Document control
* Contract reviews

You will be team a player with excellent communication skills. You will have a sound knowledge of current contracting laws, negotiation and project management principles.
