Our Client an African-focused uranium and specialty metals resource company requires an experienced Project Manager to manage all aspects of its bankable feasibility study and beyond. Production is planned to commence in 2012 at a rate of 3,000tpa niobium metal, principally in the form of ferro-niobium.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will work with the existing team including the Executive Director for Exploration and the General Manager Africa (reporting to this position).
Position Requirements:
* A Bachelor Degree from a recognizable University.
* At least 15 years of experience in Mining or Metallurgical Engineering.
* Thorough knowledge of mining operations and ore processing principles.
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of people at all levels - both internal and external to the organisation.
* Willingness to undertake frequent travel to Sub-Sahara Africa and South Africa
* Overseas experience, preferably in Africa.
* Abundant enthusiasm and energy.
