Aerotek Energy Services is seeking a Sr. Subsea Project Manager for our oil & gas client here in Houston, TX. This is a direct hire opportunity. Our client is a provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to worldwide oil, gas and process industries. Our client provides subsea systems specializing in christmas trees, flowline connections, installations/workover controls, subsea wellheads, production controls & manifolds.
A Senior Engineering position working in support of the Subsea Process Technology Group. Subsea systems will initially include multi-phase pumps and subsea processes. Maintain close relationship with suppliers and customers and coordinate the completion of projects with engineering and manufacturing personnel.
Duties:
Quickly develop a thorough understanding of Subsea process technology.
Conduct design and product development utilizing established company and industry engineering standards and software tools.
Work with the Product Development team and the Project Management Process.
Lead engineer on processing projects with functional supervision.
Design responsibility for one or more portions of a project as member of a small team. The team members may include mentor, junior engineer, designer/draftsperson, and other contributing subsea specialists from other company departments.
Assignments can be broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
Initial assignments will include system design and integration for subsea multiphase pumping and phase separation systems. These systems include cutting-edge technology at the forefront of the subsea industry.
Regularly communicate progress toward established objectives, schedules, and budgets for products designs in progress.
Will actively participate in formal product design reviews at major milestones for new products in progress.
Contribute new product ideas and participate in the resolution of technical, quality, and cost issues.
Requirements:
BS Mechanical Engineering with at least 10+ years solid Subsea Engineering experience.
