NATURE & SCOPE

An essential role of Road Information & Asset Management Technology is to manage the development and integration of consistent, systems, practices, processes and guidelines, for the management and delivery of asset management services across the state. This is critical to ensure that consistent and effective asset management practices are implemented. Another key role is to develop processes of sound information management which will support the operational needs of the asset.
The Project Manager, Road & Corridor Management Systems will support the development, and implementation of Asset Management related systems and processes.

Key responsibilities
To develop systems and supporting processes for cost effective management of road and corridor assets. To include “best practice” processes in the system and to ensure that the systems align with client policy. To be able to facilitate technical groups to accelerate the development of systems and processes. Effectively manage the information which supports the effective management of RTA’s assets. Develop validation and performance reports. Contribute to the development and maintenance of system control standards for the Branch.
SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:
Technical knowledge and experience in Asset Management of road and corridor assets. Knowledge of maintenance management issues as related to road and corridor assets. Experience in information management. Demonstrated ability to produce cost effective solutions. Experience in producing validation and management reports. Experience in the creation and delivery of management presentations and workshop facilitation. Experience with using Microsoft suite of software. Desirable

Experience in design and construction of culverts and retaining walls. Knowledge of road and corridor maintenance technology. Experience in working with MS Excel and MS Access. Current driving license.
