A junior miner that is making strong headway in the mining industry within the coal sector and has already undertaken a successful joint venture. The company is rapidly expanding with a strong pipeline of activity in 2010, establishing new mines in the Bowne Basin and are looking to strengthen their team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, they are looking for a Project Manager with the following attributes:

Role:

Playing & coordinating of heritage surveys and land access requirement to support the extensive exploration programme they are undertakingNegotiating with Native title parties and landownersAssist in the feasibility studies and execution of the EISs and government approval processesAssist in the development of full scale feasibility studies, EISs and government approvals processIdeal Candidates:

Degree qualified in Mining or EngineeringProven track record in Project Manager strong feasibility experienceKnowledge of QLD legislation and exploration tenement conditionsMust have experience in EISs and a solid understanding of the government approvals processAble to negotiate with government and local parties and landownersIn Return:
