Project Manager Commercial Construction

My client is a local Melbourne builder that has a succesful history in developing and the construction of small to medium sized commercial projects

An opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to run small commercial projects in and around Melbourne. You must have a solid work history and previous experience running commercial construction projects simultaneously.

Duties and responsibilities will include:
Liaising with clients and managing projects to ensure delivery on time and in a cost effective manner
Must have the ability to drive project construction to meet deadlines while adhering to quality standards.
The issuing of briefs for project consultants
Appointment and co-ordination of consultants and sub contractors, from project inception to completion,
Preparation and analysis of tender documentation,
Making sure all important project documents are prepared, approved and distributed at the pre contract stage.
Clearly setting out site instructions to subcontractors and making sure they are issued in accordance with the company policy.
Ensure that requests for clarification, provision of technical information or proposed changes to drawing and specifications are documented, submitted, tracked and then closed out.
