Perth based Junior exploration company Diverse commodity focus

We have an exciting opportunity to join a junior exploration company during the initial stages of their development. The company has a diverse tenement holding with projects ranging from greenfield to inferred resources. They now require an Exploration Manager capable of managing all activities associated with the advancement of the company's WA presence.

The Exploration Manager will report to the Managing Director and will be expected to drive all corporate & operational activities associated with the current projects. The position will be predominantly Perth based with some occasional travel as required. The responsibilities associated with this role will cover a diverse range of duties and will include the following:

Planning, implementation and reporting of all exploration activities Project evaluation and assessment Stakeholder liaison and assist with corporate roadshows Management of exploration budget Assist with corporate initiatives - joint venture negotiations, acquisitions etc. The position will require proven experience in an Exploration Manager position, ideally covering both greenfield and advanced projects. You will also need the following:

Tertiary Qualifications in Geology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of WA Mining Act and Statutory requirements Strong computer skills - MapInfo, databases Previous iron ore and/or gold experience would be an advantage The position involves working in the Perth office and some limited travel will be required. It is expected that the role will actively participate in some field activities and a willingness to assume hands-on duties on occasions will be essential. Your ability to work effectively within a small, dynamic group will also be a key component of your success.

The position will attract a salary in the vicinity of $150K - $180K + Super & Options. This is a new position, not previously advertised and initial interviews will commence from Monday 21st September. It is expected that initial client meetings will take place within the next 2 - 3 weeks.
