Location: Brisbane CBD, QLD 4000 CBD Location Large rail projects $140,000
The main duties of the Project Manager include:
Project management of rail projects to meet time, cost and quality requirements including: client liaison, project set-up, preparation of project programmes, resourcing, monitoring and reporting progress, project controls, identifying risks, identifying works outside the scope of works, preparing and agreeing variations with the client and managing the commercial aspects of the project.Planning and ensuring the requirements of Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Management for the project are implemented and met.Ensuring company systems are implemented on projects.Liaise with other divisions / offices in for the delivery of services.Engagement / supervision of sub-consultants.Review completed engineering work to ensure accuracy and compliance with the scope of works.Supervision of the preparation of project deliverables for the assigned sections of work.Ongoing liaison with relevant Project Leaders/Team Leaders ensuring all parties are kept informed of all relevant matters in relation to projects.Preparation of bids and proposals, either as the Bid Manager or a member of the bidding team.Review engineering design drawings for constructability / consistency with design and construction specifications.
