Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

Reporting to the Mobile Superintendent, you will be primarily responsible for the supervision of the mobile maintenance workshop including ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel. In addition you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Relevant skills and abilities:

* Prompt action and close out of safety issues affecting the workplace
* Accountability for mobile fleet maintenance cost and reliability
* Delivering a cost efficient and effective mobile maintenance service to internal customers
* Supervising workshop and contract personnel
* The application and continued development of effective preventative maintenance programs
* Supplier liaison regarding off-site component repairs, parts supply and off-site maintenance projects
* Providing technical advice for the procurement of mobile equipment

Relevant skills and abilities:

* A Mechanical Trade background with strong technical knowledge of mobile equipment and thorough working knowledge of current maintenance practices and strategies
* Effective leadership skills
* A strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety
* Relevant experience and be highly motivated in setting and monitoring goals, establishing strategies and priorities for major change and communicating company objectives
* A proven record in cost control and budget management
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with software packages including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and GSAP
