Commercial Manager (Process Valves) required for an expanding company which designs and manufactures a wide range of fluid handling and mineral and mining products and solutions for a variety of applications.
The role will be to identify and understand key customer needs, identify new customers, product and marketing opportunities, strategic planning, providing specialist technical support and supporting brand development in Western/Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. Key responsibilities will be to aid the successful launch of a new range of process valves into Europe, working with sales managers to identify suitable sales companies to join the company's increasing distributor network including management of some direct sales through key accounts.
International travel will be required to deal directly with key accounts, distributors and their customers including site visits, giving technical advice, trouble shooting, diagnosing technical problems etc.
Requirements for the role are: Graduate engineer with 3 - 5 years European industrial minerals processing experience, fluent in one or more European languages, in addition to English, is preferred, a technical background with experience of valves and their application, experience in managing distributors and key accounts.
The role is home based and the successful individual will ideally be located in mainland Europe around the Benelux area.
