Its no secret that the bulk of the large resources projects are in Western Australia – whether it be Oil and Gas, Iron Ore, Gold or Coal, this region is certainly making the world aware of the expanse of resource treasures here.

The process of extracting these commodities involves large civil, structural, piping and mechanical works, often in remote areas and with poor access to supplies, materials and labour, and makes the construction of the mine infrastructure and process plants required very difficult, time consuming and costly yet at the same time exciting, innovative and sought after due to the size of the projects, the continuity of work and the promise of having a large and groundbreaking project listed on your CV.

Executive Resources Alliance has 2 positions for Project Managers experienced in SMP and Heavy Civil Works within the confines of WA.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the candidate will be responsible for:

- Management of a large team of Civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, Structural, Mechanical and Piping Supervisors, Superintendents, the Commercial team, Safety Team, Design Managers and administrative personnel
- Overseeing planning and scheduling by the construction team
- Provide Financial and Progress Reporting to the Operations Manager and the client
- Maintain a close relationship with the client and local government authorities
- Oversee and have input into the commercial and contractual aspects of the project including review of major contracts and monthly reporting
- Maintain a ‘Safety first” culture on the project
- Ensure compliance to the Environmental, Safety, Communication and Project Management Plans
- Provide and implement training and motivate staff

And other duties as required by the Operations Manager.

Have you had exposure or performed a similar role?
Have you extensive experience in SMP Works or large civil infrastructure projects?
Do you have Tertiary Qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering?
