With multiple operating mine sites in Western Australia as well as many more scattered across the globe, our client is truly a global leader. This standout organisation is a major commodity producer that operates a world class flotation circuit near one of WAs most famous mining towns
The client is currently seeking a Metallurgist Superintendent to work at an iconic operation in WA. This role has true diversity and will appeal to those seeking a challenge and wanting to diversify their skill set and plan their career into the future whilst maintaining your family or personal lifestyle.
Reporting directly to the Processing Manager you will be responsible for:
Providing technical support to the metallurgical and project development teams
Identifing problems in the metallurgical circuit and developing sustainable corrective measures to improve the processing system
Identifing and implement improvement measures to promote the performance of the plant
You will be required to draw upon your metallurgical experience and strong technical knowledge to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in metallurgy, or chemistry or chemical engineering, solid experience in metallurgical procedures and production planning where technical expertise in mill modelling and flotation circuit modelling will be highly regarded.
A competitive salary package will be commensurate with experience.
