Responsible for the profitable and effective management of the sales and service facility.Â Insures proper and effective use of expenses, personnel, inventory, assets, and to insure proper safety procedures are in place and followed.Â Develops proper strategies to meetÂ market conditions; builds and maintains strong customer bases. Insures strong communications within the operation and assists with sales and service.
Description:
-Personal contact with customers, locally and remote, to promote sales and technical services as required. Provides quotations, pricing and technical advice.
-Analyzes market conditions, competitive operations/activity, and sales statistics for the operation and: recommends new products and/or services; provides product information that results in improved lines and/or elimination of unprofitable products or services.Â Initiates and develops local sales campaigns.Â Communicates market conditions with management and makes suggestions of necessary actions or changes.
-Supervises, coordinates with subordinates various upcoming projects and delegates authority as required.
-Reviews all operation expenses, sales, and budgets to insure operations are within projected areas.Â Makes necessary changes to keep operations profitable.
-Supervises salaried and hourly personnel within the operation, communicates company policy, safety guidelines, operation status, market conditions, and actions and/or changes required to meet market conditions.
-Assists as needed on remote sites, to provide technical assistance to customer and company personnel.
-Actively manages, supports, participates in, and maintains the integrity and ongoing function of the company and facilitys safety program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
-Actively supports and participates in the establishment of and compliance with the companys -Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
-Performs a variety of functions necessary for the successful operation/facility, as assigned by the management of the company.
Requirements:
-Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration preferred.
-Three to four years progressively responsible experience in oil and gas production equipment sales, service, and business administration.
-Previous management or supervisory experience required, with experience in local oil and gas production equipment.
-General knowledge of all types of process equipment and controls manufactured by NATCO and others, to assist customer with sizing and applications.
-Ability to use personal computer.
-Ability to read and comprehend comprehensive blueprints/drawings and bills of material.
