Our Explosives Business, Dyno Nobel, is a market leader in the manufacture and supply of commercial explosives. With a history dating back to Alfred Nobel, we currently operate in 300 locations across Asia Pacific and North America. We are currently seeking an experienced and diverse HR Professional to play a pivotal role in providing strategic direction to the explosives business and to also support the HR/ER/IR effort at one of our major manufacturing sites in Brisbane.

Reporting directly to the President Asia Pacific this role will also have a matrix reporting line to the GM HR and will be responsible for:

Providing strategic input, as part of the Regional Management Team, to business decisions regarding policy application and workplace change Coaching and supporting senior managers and ensuring continued development of the organisations future leadership capability Promote and embed Performance and Talent Management practices across the businessEnsure the provision of an IR framework and strategy that enables the achievement of the business objectives and minimize the risk of industrial actionActively build and maintain sound working relationships with external stakeholders and third party providersProvide timely coaching, guidance and feedback to develop, motivate and guide individuals toward successful outcomesTo be successful in this role you will require

Tertiary Qualifications in Business or HR with further post graduate studies being an advantageMinimum 10 years experience in generalist HR with exposure to the Mining and Resources sector being favourableHigh level ability to build strong trusting relationships at all levels of businessDemonstrated success in coaching, mentoring and leadership developmentStrong commercial focus with the ability to integrate and influence stakeholders towards positive business outcomesProven ability to provide leadership and direction to field HR practitionersThis position will hold a considerable level of accountability within the organisation and the successful applicant must be capable of delivering sound, competent strategic advice whilst also being able to get their hands dirty at the coal face. Remuneration will reflect the accountabilities of this position and will be negotiated in line with experience and skills.
