Nickel West is the world’s third largest producer of nickel-in-concentrate.
Leinster Nickel Operation is located 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
Nickel operations at Leinster include the Perseverance Underground Mine, Cliffs Nickel Mine, Rocky’s Reward Open Pit Mine, other satellite deposits, and a nickel concentrator and dryer.
The Cliffs Nickel Mine is an integral part of the Leinster Nickel Operation, located 12 kilometres south of the Mt Keith Operation. Cliffs is a narrow vein nickel/cobalt deposit and is an underground mining operation.

Think Purpose
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Coordinator assists the maintenance department in the areas of Mobile, Fixed and Electrical plant, ensuring that the Mobile Mining, Fixed Plant and Light Vehicle Fleets are safely and cost effectively maintained to a level that ensures the ongoing delivery of ore to LNO.
You will be expected to deal with day to day issues in the maintenance team which include but are not limited to quality auditing, process adherence, coaching of leaders, sustainability audits, workflow adherence, deal with escalation issues, lead small projects, RCA’s and ICAM’s.
Think Requirements
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced maintenance professionals from either a mechanical or electrical field. You will have had previous exposure to a maintenance/engineering management position.
Knowledge of maintenance planning principles and procedures, maintenance practices in a heavy engineering environment and knowledge of safety and personnel management practices in a large operation are essential.
Ideally you will have some exposure to HV Electrical components and have the ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical circuit flow diagrams.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong teamwork and facilitation skills will set you up for success in this role.
A current WA Drivers Licence and Police Clearance are essential.
