Future Growth Subsurface Resources

Future Growth Subsurface Resources Manager required for operator in London area. Start date TBC, this will be a permanent staff position based in their offices in the London area.

Key accountabilities of this role include co-ordinating, reporting and managing the UKU Resource and Reserves portfolio on behalf of all UKU subsurface groups This role is also accountable for maintenance of subsurface functional integrity, communications activities, and for the management and improvement of subsurface discipline skills and capabilities across UKU. Also responsible for the co-ordination of Business plan and HCM processes and inputs from UKU subsurface organisation. Manages and monitors periodic performance updates against previous plan submissions; integrating this information into Capital planning and planning modelling.

Key requirements:
- Relevant engineering or subsurface degree or equivalent, supplemented by solid industry experience likely to demonstrate a proven ability to stay current with new technology and well as strong proven appreciation of the technical challenges facing the industry and their context within a changing economic and commercial climate.
- Broad subsurface technical experience at skilled level.
- Multiple assignment and project experience in a variety of domains.
- Must have worked in an international matrix environment ideally leading a multi disciplinary team.
- Skilled in project definition and upstream project management.
- Strong understanding of subsurface management almost certainly gained within an industry operator.
- Capable of swift application of subsurface management within company.
- Proven cross discipline achievements ideally in a development role.
- Strong stakeholder management experience.
- Broad range of field type experience.
- Effective at top level influencing within an operating environment.

Desirable Experience:
- UKCS, Brownfield or Exploration experience would be beneficial.
- Experience of understanding and running internal assurance processes is highly desirable.
