Do you have a mix of building and mining construction experience? Have you managed the construction of civil infrastructure projects and civil maintenance contracts?

Our client has an immediate requirement for a Site Manager to oversee a series of civil construction and maintenance projects on a Brownfields mine site just South of Perth. Although this project is not overly complex, it offers the successful applicant a fantastic opportunity to work on a high profile site for a global mining giant while enjoying the peace and serenity of a beautiful south west summer.

Located just off the spectacular southern coast of WA this project is part of a $1bn brownfields construction project and is set very close to WA's esteemed wine region. This position will have overall responsibility for the smooth running of the site by coordinating several subcontractors, a crew of up to 30 direct hire staff, materials, plant and equipment while also liaising with the clients representatives.

Ideally the successful applicant will have over 5 years experience as a Site Manager overseeing large industrial construction projects. It is essential that you also possess excellent communication skills, are a systems oriented person and have a calm persona to "ride the bumps" as any challenges present themselves.

This will be a role that allows you to spend each and every night at home. Due to transport requirements, applicants from outside WA, or those that live North of the River are not encouraged to apply at this point in time. This role will perfectly suit candidates living in Perth's Southern suburbs - ideally the Peel region.
