North Houston Energy Company is looking for a Lease Records Manager.
Responsible for building and developing the lease records department.
Reports directly to Director Land Administration.
Lead a team of lease analysts, techs and GIS personnel.
Work closely with Accounting on all payable and receivable issues to ensure proper reporting, controls and record keeping.
Track all leases for rental and other payment obligations.
Prepare internal reports such as acreage and lease inventories.
Manage all lease and contract data in an electronic environment.
Direct and review Release of Lease and Assignments, as necessary.
Maintain and prepare acreage and rental reports for management.
Manage personnel on a special project basis.
Oversee the compliance of Lease obligations such as rentals/minimum royalties and lease expirations.
Review monthly reports to Landman personnel relating to Pay Recommendations/lease obligations and lease expirations.
Oversee the maintenance and updates of existing records for accuracy and record standards.
Coordinate activities with other Lease Records personnel related to adhering to lease requirements.
Create/analyze system reports pertinent to areas of interest.
Respond to inter-departmental requests, particularly from Legal, Accounting and Geophysical departments.
Oversee the research, analysis, and maintenance of oil and gas agreements, including ownership set up of new agreements in the land system.
Develop and maintain network relationships with government agencies, lessors, mineral owners and partners.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions.
College Degree Preferred
Ten to Fifteen years direct experience with various types of lease agreements and software packages used for Land functions.
Candidate should be flexible with changing priorities and possess strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously within deadline requirements.
Ability to solve routine issues with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate creativity and innovation in approach.
Must be able to work in multi-team environment.
Well organized and detail oriented.
