The client is a highly reputable plant hire and civil contractor that have been operating and hiring machines for over 45 years. The company is a Australian, privately owned, family business that provides specialist earthmoving and project based services.

They pride themselves on being able to deliver and project size or complexity, with a professional manner, high safety standards, excellent training for their employees and commitment and dedication to the projects/contracts they take on.

The plant hire division supplies a variety of specialised earthmoving machinery including: Dump Trucks, Water Carts, Dozers, Excavators, Crane Trucks, Compactors, Loaders, Graders and Back Hoes.

At present there is a fantastic opportunity for a Plant Hire Manager to join this highly successful company, to be based on the South side of Brisbane.

Duties/Responsibilities:

In the role you will have several in-house staff reporting directly to the position, that will include: Sales Representative, Administration, Plant Hire Field Supervisor and various other associated workshop staff. You will be expected to drive the sales of the plant hire business, deal with enquiries, quote on machine hourly rates, logistics of plant moving from site to site, track available plant, maintenance of plant, overall profitability of plant hire business and manage the workshop.
