THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by an international oil operating company to provide a Contracts Manager to be based in Cairo. One year contract (renewable). Ability to travel internationally, sometimes for extended periods, Egyptian taxes paid by Client. Terms, conditions and benefits to be discussed and agreed.
THE PERSON
At least 15 years experience of contract management for major upstream offshore and onshore projects. Experience required of: Working in JV environments within multi-disciplined / multi-national teams; Developing and executing contract plans; Formulating and administering different contract types including lump sum EPIC, EPC, Unit Rate and reimbursable contracts in particular; Negotiating Contractual and Insurance Claims; Administration of EPC contracts, complex equipment packages contracts; Managing relationships and disputes with major international contractors; Working in an overseas environment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree or equivalent. Associate of the RICS or equivalent preferred. Good communication and presentation skills. Team working / team building. Networking and relationship building. Coaching and developing others. Demonstrating cultural awareness. Commercial / contractual negotiating skills. Decision making / finding solutions. Contract drafting and formulation. Fluent written and spoken English.
