Technical Assistant

Technical Assistant required for Oil Major based in Aberdeen.

You will provide general technical and administrative support to the Facilities Engineering Group, but duties shall include:

Manage databases and collate reports for internal & external review;
Organise and facilitate meetings to provide updates for reports etc;
Provide weekly updates regarding work status, plans and key issues;
Communicate with Facility Surveillance Supervisor to resolve potential conflicts as and when they arise and keep them apprised to workload issues;
Communicate frequently with engineers, supervisors and field personnel to optimize computing database & reporting practices;
Perform QA/QC checks to determine if jobs have been updated appropriately; work with responsible engineers to update jobs if needed;
Draft meeting minute actions and work with Ops Supt to assign actions and then publish material to meeting participants;
Provide general administrative assistance (e.g. service requests, service entries, material reservations etc) as needed;

You must have a history of Technical Training courses and have previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
