Concentrator And Maintenance Manager

Our client, one of the major international mining houses requires a Concentrator Manager for their operations in Western Australia.
The successful candidate will have:

* Tertiary qualifications in a process engineering discipline.
* A minimum of 15 years in the extractive metallurgy industry including at least 5 years in a management role.
* Previous experience in operating and maintaining a nickel concentrator.

Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

* Engineering, design & maintenance (including site-wide maintenance function).
* Metallurgical test work and analysis.
* Continuous improvement processes including managing growth.
* Planning, scheduling, & budgeting.
* Personnel recruitment and management, employee health, safety and welfare.
* Maintaining control over product delivery to the port in Western Australia.
* Supporting the Registered Mine Manager in development and implementation of a 5 year rolling plan.

In addition the successful candidate will be required to Deputise for the General Manager, and act as the Alternate Registered Manager, as directed.

This is a fly in fly out role with a salary package commensurate with the responsibilities.
