THE ROLE
CCL has been requested by a leading Oil & Gas Energy company to provide a Head of Onshore Construction. BtB 28/28 rotation with a contract duration of 1 year (renewable). Visits to other company facilities when required. Excellent rates negotiable for the right candidate.
THE PERSON
Minimum 20 years relevant experience with at least 5 years in an Onshore Construction role. Previous experience in the FSU. Project Management skills (including good working knowledge of contractual matters). Highly experienced with Multi Discipline construction techniques. Manage and coordinate construction activities relating to all projects in support of Base Operations. Responsible for the execution, implementation, completion and turnover to operations of all the associated projects. Responsible for Mentoring National staff and supervising and monitoring Ex Pat personnel. Propose, agree and instigate changes to work procedures and plans which are considered appropriate and to adequately document such changes.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Degree in Engineering. Sound knowledge of most computer applications. Ability to work to the highest HSE standards. Good interpersonal and communication skills suitable for the Kazakh environment. Fluent written and spoken English and preferably one other major language. Some knowledge of Russian is desirable.
