We are currently seeking an organised self-starter to take responsibility in the areas of fiduciary & controls oversight on key Marketing processes, financial period end closing & management reporting for the Carbon Steel Materials Marketing Finance function.
Based in Singapore this position will report to the Business Controller, this is a hands-on role encompassing the analysis, measuring and reporting of the company's marketing activities.
In this role, the candidate will be involved in the timely closing of period ends; monthly reporting; analysis, follow-up and resolution of queries from key stakeholders.
In addition, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence of all finance activities to external and internal rules, regulations, policies and legislation (including Sarbanes Oxley).
The candidate will also support the Controller in Business Partnership activities to the Division VP and their direct reports; manage relationships with stakeholders including relevant Finance teams in Marketing (Singapore, The Hague, and Zurich) and work on project work on an ad-hoc basis.
Skills and Experience
Degree qualified in accounting, commerce, business or equivalent with a minimum of 4 to 6 years experience in finance or accounting. SAP experience is highly recommended.
Your interpersonal and communication skills will ensure that you can interact constructively with all levels of the organisation, including senior managers. The ability to prioritise conflicting demands and master a fluctuating workload will be a distinct asset.
