Based in Tokyo this position will report to the Vice President, this position is accountable for provision of full administrative and business control functions for network offices.

Core Accountabilities

* Maintain statutory financial accounts in accordance with accounting standards;
* Perform reconciliations of P&L accounts;
* Assist with analysis of monthly results via cost analysis;
* Assist in the preparation of network office management reporting and ad hoc projects;
* Ensure appropriate financial checks and reconciliations are performed;
* Prepare and administer cost budget for network office activities;
* Prepare and distribute external statistical reports as required;
* Coordinate preparation of budgets, forecasts and plans with finance team, office services, President and Marketing Managers;
* Ensure free flow of all relevant information to members of the company in a prompt and timely manner;
* Control data integrity throughout the information databases;
* Monitor compliance to Group Level Documents and procedures;
* Maintain business partner/customer/vendor master data;
* Liaise with the appropriate personnel to ensure the companies are in compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements;
* Liaise with Internal and External Audit as appropriate;
* Act as back up for other team members within the Finance Department when required.

Technical Competencies

*
Bachelors / Masters’ degree in accounting or economics or equivalent
*
A minimum of 5 years experience in finance, preferably in accounting
*
A minimum of 2 years working experience in a finance accounting/administrative support role
*
Ability to plan and implement cost control and business control measures
* Computer literate, SAP experience highly recommended
* Fluent English and Japanese, both verbal and written
