The Kencana Petroleum Group is an established provider of integrated engineering and fabrication services for the oil & gas industry. The Group undertake engineering and fabrication of production facilities, modules, process skid systems; EPCIC and support services; as well as specialized fabrication. Listed in the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Kencana Petroleum are engaged in work throughout the Asia Pacific region, Africa and the Middle East.

In line with our expansion, we are looking for dymanic and qualified individuals to fill the following position:

LEGAL EXECUTIVE
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:
* Assist the Group Head of Legal Department in all respects for the provision of any legal work in the Group.
* To monitor and advise on the litigation matters in the Group
* Perform legal research as and when needed in the course of work
* Responds to internal legal enquiries
* Drafts/reviews/comment on legal documentation

Requirements:
* Degree in Law from a recognized reputable institution and called to the Malaysia Bar.
* Possess at least 3 years of working experience in either in a law firm or the legal department of a sizeable company.
* Good and sound knowledge in basic principles of all relevant areas of laws
* Well-versed in the litigation process and court procedures
* Able to draft, review and comment on legal agreements
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
