Mt Keith (MKO) is a world class nickel operation located approximately 900 km north-east of Perth, and contributes around one third of Nickel West's nickel concentrate, utilising the latest technology in mining and mineral processing. An excellent opportunity now exists in our Health, Safety, Environment & Community (HSEC) Department for an HSEC Technician. Think Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide specialist advice on hygiene and environmental issues and to ensure our hygiene and environment legal obligations and requirements are met by monitoring the environment and hygiene of the site, maintaining records and report on results. To do this, procedures will need to be developed and implemented and provide training and education.
Think Requirements
You will be a qualified Surface Ventilation Technician with a sound understanding of health and hygiene monitoring practices and relevant legislation. You will have specialised hygiene monitoring skills and sound written and verbal communication and computer skills. A current WA “A” Class drivers licence is also essential.
