The Contracts Team Lead - Services is responsible for leading a team of dedicated supply professionals in managing and sourcing service contracts.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, this role offers the suitable candidate good development opportunities. This position is Perth based with occasional travel to sites throughout Western Australia.
Think Purpose
This role is primarily responsible for leading and managing the execution of service contracts throughout the Nickel West business.
You will lead a team of professionals and take ownership of continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the delivery of sourcing projects in line with KPI’s, mentoring the team members on the execution of sourcing and contract management and facilitating the drive towards Zero Harm.
Think Requirements
Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will enable the building of productive relationships and support to site customers. You will be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the:
* The procure to pay process;
* Tendering & Contract creation;
* Negotiation principals and implementation and commercial practices including commercial law principles.
To be eligible to apply, you must have strong experience in a Supply or Commercial related discipline, preferably within the resource sector plus a thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management. Proficiency with the MS Office suite of software (including an excellent grasp of excel) and SAP is expected. To ensure your success in this role you will support an environment that sets high standards of teamwork, leading by example and sharing information openly.
