Think Purpose
The role is primarily responsible for the build and test of Nickel West systems and IM strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
You will be accountable for managing the scoping and execution of IM projects, focusing on zero harm, data integrity, total cost of ownership minimisation and standardisation across the entire asset.
Other accountabilities include management of the Program Office and importantly, defining the new services to be performed by our outsourced vendors.
Think Requirements
To be eligible to apply, you must have tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a relevant business discipline. You will have a background in team leadership, have the ability to drive IM projects through the build and test framework, together with the ability to influence stakeholders. You will have an understanding of IT systems in a complex outsourced business environment during a growth phase.
Strong project management skills and knowledge of ITIL and SPMF or similar methodologies are essential. Exposure to SAP and a broad knowledge of the mining or minerals processing industry will be highly regarded.
